VizualTech Design Drops ALMS-Style Chevrolet Camaro

VizualTech Design Drops ALMS-Style Chevrolet Camaro

Posted on 28 Oct 2009 at 8:19pm

The Specialty Equipment Market Association trade show is home to some of the most outlandish concept and one-off vehicles of any given year, but the latest creation out of VizualTech’s design studio is both way out there and a car that we’d like to see not just built, but raced, as it’s intended as an American Le Mans Series GT car. Though not designed specifically for the SEMA show, its timing at just a week before the Las Vegas tuner market event is anything but coincidental. Far from the aesthetically questionable and functionally crippled cars that constitute many of the entries in that show’s appearance list, however, the rendered ALMS Camaro looks every inch the real-deal racer. Posted on 28 Oct 2009 at 8:04pm

When we polled you yesterday afternoon about whether Honda was right in choosing to build the insurrectionary 2010 Accord Crosstour instead of picking the Accord Touring from its overseas showrooms, we didn’t know that Acura was going to announce that it was doing just that today. Honest. In fact, as far as we’re concerned, you guys made it happen. Well, 47.7% of you (at last count), anyway, as bringing over the Accord Tourer was your number one suggestion for a Honda/Acura load-lugger. In any case, in a (very) brief press release available after the jump, Acura has announced the addition of a TSX sport wagon to its 2011 lineup, and it will likely look suspiciously like the Euro-market Accord Touring model that many people have been clamoring for. Other main difference is the updated interior, which includes more luxurious materials delivering better comfort to passengers. Besides the carbon fibre roof and the interior changes the new Impreza WRX STi Carbon now comes with 5-speed automatic gearbox, which precedent for the WRX STi models. Obviously the real hard-core fans wont appreciate it, but it is designed to deliver better comfort for ordinary customers. Continue
